Why is the main title missing for the iOS 11.4 beta?
The iOS 11.4 beta has a tiny black area at the top-left of the home screen that I believe is supposed to contain the main title. It’s missing for me, and I don’t see a setting to change the appearance of this area. I’m running beta 6 on an iPhone 6S.

The main title is still there if you tap the Today widget on the home screen. But I’m going to just assume you mean the title that normally appears below the status bar when you’re in an app, when you swipe down from the top of the screen.

Then click the Accessibility button in the top bar, and click on View Large Titles. Then select the text color, in your case black. The title is shown by default to be 24pt in height.
