i found this thread on gdx techs forums: http://gdx.tutsplus.com/tutorials/trader-sdk-pricing/ . the last post “and a few more” is from may 6th and the last comment is from april 23rd, 2015. i have contacted a few of the users, but no one is volunteering to help on this, so perhaps its too late. too bad, because the documentation of the site is good and i need some volunteers. i have also contacted the owners of gdx tradeserver, but there were no responses either. it’s really on you guys to help. if you do, please pm me. i’d like to know if the program is still running. if someone wants to run it, can you?

now, lets talk about ex4 decompilers. there are a few different options on the market. for free you can use the ex4 to mq4 decompiler. if you have a paid account, then the ex4 to mq4 decompiler, the ex4decompiler.com website can assist with your request. both of them can decompile both the ex4 file and the mq4 file using a command line call. it will decompile both the ex4 file and the mq4 file. in addition, there is a paid menu-driven gui called metatrader 4 expert advisor decompiler

there are two tools, ex4dec, which directly decompiles executable.ex4 files into source code, and ex4wm, which only works on windows because it needs to trick the operating system into thinking the.exe is a valid.wsf file. on a linux system you can run ex4dec directly. a test program can be found in the file samples/linux/decompile_ex4_to_html_win32.py.

if no one volunteers to help, and there are no release candidates before christmas, ill have to release it as is. please download and help test it out, so i have a better idea of what the potential issues are. if you are able to test it, file bugs at the website or at the github project issues page (i need an account to create that).
